Ordinary but a little Unhinged

Weird Al’s Word Crimes – yes!

I only just discovered this clip! It is absolutely fantastic. I love this more than I love the vast majority of things on the planet. So much so, I felt compelled to post about it.

If you haven’t watched it yet – check it out below.

I think a huge reason I love it is because it’s a parody of Robin Thicke’s Blurred Lines (a song that is banned from from EVER being played in my presence. It annoys me on levels I can’t even describe).

But mostly I love it because Weird Al expresses all of my opinions about grammar and the use of English that aren’t really appreciated in comment form to my Facebook friends (yes, on occasion I am that person).

I must admit the tune is now stuck in my head (for the umpteenth thousand time since the song was produced), so that may be a drawback I haven’t fully assessed yet. For the time being, I’m just going to laugh out loud and scream “yes!” at my computer screen.

Now to play it again…

“Weird Al” Yankovic – Word Crimes

And maybe one more time…

Until next time,
